We will have an odd/even and prime/composite concept quiz on Thursday, 10/3. Attached is a study guide to help your child (it will also be sent home). PLEASE NOTE: The test will also include a vocabulary portion on the words included in the second file below. Students will have to match the term with the definition or example.

The kids will have a vocabulary quiz on the words we've been discussing in class. The kids were given the vocabulary terms in class over a week ago (and again this past week). A copy of the vocabulary flash cards is below should you need it. Some ideas for studying:
The kids will have a vocabulary quiz on our scientific investigation unit on Thursday, 9/18. The kids will be expected to match the terms with the definitions. For a 4, they will have to match examples of some of the terms with the vocabulary word. The kids were given paper flash cards last week. Here is the homework for this week. Homework is given on Monday and is due on Friday. This week we have a special assignment in place of our usual science homework- an assignment about the student and his/her guardian. In conversations with my students, I was surprised to find that many didn't know their home address or guardian's phone number. Thanks for your help with this, guardians!
